Supurb
The lookout exceeded all my expectations. I bought it to wear to a wedding and I think I got more compliments on it that the bride did on her gown (maybe not that many, but plenty). I wouldn't hesitate buying it again. The only thing that irked me a trifling was it wasn't clear that the watch came with a chain. It does, so don't make the same mistake I did and acquisition an additional one.

This is smashing! We've had it for 2 years now, and it's still working great. The price is wonderful for it as well. This is the nicest one I have found in this price category. :)

Satisfyingly Watch (try number 2)!
Update (July 5th, 2010 - back to 4 Stars): AMAZON rocks for high-speed turn around returns!!! Sent in the return notice to Amazon and received the replacement on one's guard for the next day. So far the new watch is performing well and I am very pleased with it. Each half wind still equals an hour to wind up and everything about it seems tighter. Every so often old-fashioned keeping is still good, has not stopped yet and I still like the watch! ---- Update (July 02, 2010 - dropped to 3 stars): Returning the sentinel. Maybe it was just mine, not sure since no one has posted other reviews. The watch just kept stopping, sometimes after a few hours, sometimes a few minutes. A contemplate that needs another watch so you can tell time is useless. Returning today for a replacement. Anticipation it is just this watch because it really is exactly what I was looking for in a pocket watch. ---- Update (July 01, 2010 - dropped to 4 stars, not actually perfect): I have used the watch for a little over a week...

Superb Pocket Watch
Got this purloin watch for my husband for our 1-year wedding anniversary and he just loved it. I was amazed at how fantabulous it was when it arrived, the picture does not do it justice. Everything on it works great, keeps perfect outdated, easy to wind and comes in a beautiful box perfect for gift giving. I would recommend this take note with the see-through cover and the back that also opens so you can see all the workings inside for anyone that wants a really unique pocket shield.

Friendly little chain, but not completely stainless.
I got this fasten to replace a chrome-plated chain that came with my pocket watch years ago. From what I can disclose, the chain links are indeed stainless steel -- but the clasps are not. The plating is already wearing off the clasps, revealing the copper and cheek underneath. I expected everything on the chain to be stainless. Disappointing. Maybe I can find replacement clasps to place to the ends of the chain, because the chain itself looks great.

Centre Watch Chain
Yes, it is very satisfyingly and just the right lenght. Cost was ok. The only negative would be the packaging. It came in this box that is just way to much. Pitiless box with silk lining etc... Some bubble wrape would have been just as nice and could have lowered the charge a couple bucks.

The gyve was exactly as described and was shipped in a lovely box. The chain's features, length, etc. have been perfect as to what I was looking for. I would patently order from this company again and would trust Amazon to deliver expediently.

I've found a hook watch I just love to pieces and I've been looking for a loooong time. It's gold ingots-plated brass from Charles-Hubert, Paris collections. Are the watches from this company supremacy enough not to wear off the gold? Would you recommend
Never buy gold bars-plated items. They are covered in a microscopic layer of gold by a process known as electrophoresis. The gross value of the gold is a few cents at most, and yes they will wear out easily.
