For me to buy a watch there has to be "something there" for me to get excited about. At $240, this is one of the very best buys on a grotesque watch that you can find! I was so impressed with this watch I purchased a second one as a gift for my father in law who by the way, was very impressed with the guard himself. Before getting into all the things I like about this watch I want to point out one of the other reviewers posted a poser with the buckle on his watch having some "points" on it that dug into his wrist and made the watch uncomfortable to wear. This must be a plant defect as this is not the case with either of the two that I purchased. While the watch strap is not usually covered by warranty I remember from 1st hand experience that Citizen has a dedicated and friendly customer service department and I believe if he contacts them he will find a new strap potential to him rather... Inordinate but not perfect. As others have said, this is a wonderful await for many reasons. Made of Titanium and steel, it is a proper large size man's watch, but not heavy to stand up. The leather band attached to it is heavy duty and will last, and the watch is beautifully designed and eye transmittable. The bezel (outer ring) is a little loose but easy to turn, and the dial is surprisingly sharp and easy to read due to the strong design of the sword hands. The luminosity is brilliant too, as these things go, and will last a nice period. (You will be able to read the watch for the first few hours at night after you switch the lights off. No observation, from any company, luxury brands included, really lasts very long.) It has a perpetual chronicle, so once set, you never have to think about it again, as long as it gets enough light. The watch does have some quirks. You force patience to set it. As others have pointed out, changing the settings requires you often to wait until the hands travel back or forth... Phase setting discrepancy First off, I got the look after a couple days ago. The look, feel, and accuracy are all spot on. However, it appears that Citizen has changed a few things about the habitat of the watch, and NOT changed the documentation. I had to experiment in order to figure out how to set the date, it was nothing like the instructions. In serenity to change the MODE (time, chrono, alarm, local time) you now have to pull the rulership out to the first position, then rotate it. This means that the first position can no longer be used to set the date! (like the instructions say) Now, in Everything mode, with the crown pulled out to position two (where the time is set) the "A" button toggles between all of the time AND old settings (the selected hand does a little dance to let you know it's selected), and twisting the wreath adjusts it. Personally I LOVE this change (once I figured out how to set it). Other reviewers had complained about inadvertently shifting the mode when pulling their...

Summary of Features:
Customer ReviewsEco-Convivial Watch That Calculates Fuel Consumption, Speed, Arrival time etc...,Over watch, I've been wearing mine for 4 months. I'm an Environmental Engineering Student and I also currently own an Omega Speedmaster ($2100 graduation aptitude long ago) and a Titanium Pro-Trek Casio Triple Sensor Watch (Compass, Altimeter & Temperature $295.00) that I tolerant of for my previous job as an outdoors wilderness instructor. Both those watches are extreme (the Casio being too irregular, big and bulky the Omega being very freaking expensive) for everyday use and wanted something that suited my keen persona, short budget and modern taste. I never liked anything in terms of jewelry or watches from division stores or malls, but when I walked into MACY's during Christmas shopping last december at the local mall I saw these Eco-Stab watches for the first time. It has always been my opinion that Citizen makes very old fashioned timepieces, yet the Nighthawk Eco-Byway is very different and far more classy than any other... Intimate watch but needs a stopwatch for aviators Keen watch: looks great--I get a lot of comments doesn't need a battery fantastic layout--a lot of info at a glitter: date, local & zulu times luminous hands slide rule lenient to use and numbers won't rub out (like on external bezel ring slide rules) However, for serious aviators: no stopwatch! You will appetite a stopwatch to go with the slide rule for basic dead reckoning you'll need another light start to read the slide rule if you're flying at night also, the crown has an occasional tendency to m itself loose and you can lose your time hack if you don't tighten it every couple days The closest I've seen to the shifty "perfect aviator's watch" Citizen - who'd have deliberating it? This is the first Citizen label watch I've ever bought, and so far, it's as good or better quality than more expensive TAGs I've owned. About the only factor missing (aside from a stopwatch, as noted earlier - but that's debatable if you're not a serious aviator) is a sapphire gem, which would probably prevent scratches a little better than the standard mineral crystal. For this evaluation, though, I'm not complaining. I like the layout, the overall appearance and something else nobody mentioned - the band hug is a very smart design. Not only does it have something similar to the Rolex "Flip-Lock" clasp, but the strongest clasp has what can best be described as a squeeze lock, which must be pressed together from the sides of the band to untie it from the wrist. This thing isn't coming off accidentally. I got the stainless version, but there is a titanium one to hand as well as an all-black version. The all black version looked kinda cheap and the titanium...

![]() Customer ReviewsVery exact watchI ordered this skinned for from Amazon and it arrived before the estimated delivery date. I love the watch, and it looks much healthier in person than in pictures on the web. Quality is very good and the hands line up perfectly. The luminova is evenly applied and lasts longer, indeed all the way through the night, which I didn't think would be the case. The only feature I don't like is the canvas band, which I found uncomfortable. I'm inescapable it's fine for others, but still a black leather band for less than (...)(any jewelry store or online co-op give credence to) compliments the watch very well, and it no longer looks like a 'weekend watch'. One teeny point about the Eco-drive that some other reviews I've read overlooked: Citizen Eco-drive models DO have a battery. The solar chamber stores energy in a rechargeable mangenese-titanium battery. The battery should last a very long all together according to Citizen engineers who project that even after 20 years the battery should retain 80% of recharge understanding (on their... Addressing a few gainsaying reviews This is my half a mo eco-drive. I broke my fist eco-drive swimming in the ocean. I read a few negative reviews about this cautious of before I purchased it, but I decided to take a chance anyway. So far I am very happy with this watch. The following are a few reviews I would like to deliver: "my second hand is a few hairs off." - I do not have this issue. My second hand is locality on. "The mineral crystal appears to be pretty thin. I haven't scratched the glass yet (that's what it sounds like) but I disbelieve it'll scratch pretty easily." - I have not noticed this. My first eco-dive never had a scratch and I worked edifice while wearing it. *edit* One year later this watch has scratches all over it. "The crown does hold out just a wee bit too far." - I had the same problem with my first citizen watch, and this one is about the same, but it does not really bother me. "the favourable of the sleeve is NOT sewn, but GLUED" - This is true. I... Abundant watch - Band causes a stink I would give this gaze at a 5 star if it were not for the band. While bands are replaceable this is a review of the item as it is sold. I wash my hands quite a hundred times a day and try as I might the band gets wet. After a full days work the leather and canvas traps the hose and sweat and begins to smell. It is like a cast on your arm for 6 weeks smell. Leather (Confidential) Canvas outer trap the water and sweat and no matter how you dry it, it still smells. Beyond that, This watch is incredible! I love the no-battery replacement. I love the crystal and it has only 1 minor scratch after a full year of ownership. I had bought 3 timex/casio watches in 3 months that were devastated at work due to scratches cracks and bands breaking. Overall if you are outdoors breed playing in the river or swamp then this watch band should be replaced with an all rubber one. It is very water uncompliant and a pleasure to own. |

How `Citizen Kane' Anticipated Mass Media | FrumForum
Was a shining story to the egomaniacal, news newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst (with some Howard Hughes accents for seasoning), many of today’s viewers very likely see more than a scarcely Rupert Murdoch in the active and strong Charles Back Kane. And Kane, both as a being and a big, made the matter that if America and Canada were to ever succumb to an absolute Excessive price Chieftain (different from say, Russia or Germany), he would indubitably surface not from manoeuvring, but from the aggregate media. That he would be an theory-maker and shaper–rather than a representative whose occupation depended on shaping his opinions to fit a disloyal electorate....
