Watch out: Black Part Is Very Easily Scratched
This is a agreeable looking watch . . . until you put it in a pocket. The first week the black part got big scratches on it and more and more have appeared since. The infernal is apparently paint that is not adequately designed to withstand touching anything metal in a pocket. The nap of the watch is fine. It just looks very scratched up pretty quick.
Exact watch with one caveat
Very ladylike pocket watch for the money. However, if you plan on hooking the chain to a belt loop, you'll have to buy another shackle as the loop on the enclosed chain is too small.

Flagrant for Groomsmen Gifts - With a little prep
I bought 3 of these as groomsman gifts for my combination a bit over a month ago. They all arrived in short order after ordering. The watches each looked slick, and all of the guys at bottom seemed to like them. I can't really comment on their durability or how well they're performing in regards to time-keeping, but I'll be definite to update this comment if I hear anything from the guys. 3 minor caveats, however: 1) the 'cope with' (that second section that flips out from the back-side of the watch) is connected by a simple hinge that barely supports the majority of the watch - so I don't think these would serve long-term as a desk clock (as I was thinking they might, if called for). 2) The watches here in a box that seemed a bit big for them - with no plastic cradle to sit in (they were just freely moving around in the box) - so it took a little bit of prep-business on my end to make them them presentable as a gift. 3) One of the watches arrived with the chain...
One Out Of Two Ain't Bad
I ordered two of these, as gifts, for a creator and son. One arrived with a broken chain. Unfortunately, I had sent it directly to the person, so they wound up having to have it repaired. Most uncomfortable. I don't believe I will be purchasing another Calibri.

The vigilant is beautiful and seems to work very good. The problem is that the release button fell out and after putting it back in several times it after all fell out in the wrong place and I was not able to find it because it is so small... Also the long pin which holds the pan cover on has a tendancy to work its way out......I guess you get what you pay for....

Warm-hearted, but a bit disappointed.
In the on whenever I have purchased a Colibri product, it has always had great quality for the price. This watch, although not a bad watch, was not up to par with what I was expecting. The conferring was great. They give you a nice, sturdy wooden box. The watch is placed nicely and everything looks well-known. I took the watch out and the first two things that I noticed were the fact that is is lighter thatn I was hoping, and although the follow is metal, the casings on both sides are metal, and the ring which connected the chain to the watch is metal, the entire outer ring and chain connection is a piece of plastic! I was kind of shocked. It does not even look that delightful and is not covered up well. Anyone who looks at it can clearly see and feel that it is a piece of plastic. Overall, the watch is a considerate watch and not too expensive, especially considering the box that it comes in, but do not expect anything really nice out of this. I take the watch...

I have a Colibri lighter that is destitute. It is only a year old. I know they are out of business, but I need this one fixed even if I have to pay for it.
Any ideas? No one seems to repair them.
I found this on the web. If the instructions won't avoid, there's a number you can try. I love Colibri lighters, but Zippos just go on and on.
