Sharp looking with issues.
I like this keep an eye open for for its looks. Very cool watch design and nice band for the money. I do however want to go out of one's way to out a few issues I found annoying. The diplay is quite difficult to read even on high contrast, the buttons are undeniably pushed accidentally and the instructions are not the best. I ended up giving mine to my son and then buying an ironman triathlon tap vet.
Strange sports / casual watch!
Adoration this watch. Slightly oversized, which is what I was looking for, because I like bigger watches (like Suunto), but can't surely afford them. Also like the dark face and smooth transition from watch band to the take care of itself. I use it for running, hiking, and even casual days with a t-shirt and jeans.

This wait for is really good in terms of comfortablity, and easy to use settings. Also has great durability. (These are quotes from my 12 year old son) From a parental aspect, this is a great beginner watch and the durability and simplicity are selling points.

The logo on Columbia sportswear, what does it represent?
I did some into and found that it a magnified view of the end of a piece of thread. The interwoven fibers are the 8 lines. I've always been surprised how reticent Sun Microsystems made their logo to Columbia's.
