A most good-looking watch... But woefully defective
Like others reviewing this filler, I too am struck by the sheer beauty of this watch, so much so that I was tempted to keep it, even after discovering that the workmanship is extremely below par,. I by a hair's breadth wanted to keep it! But at almost $200.00, common sense won out & I returned it. The Bezel would turn only under extreme influence and would seize-up midway through the rotation... it should rotate only 1 direction but would rotate in either direction. The turn-downs didn't and I realized that the one controlling the month was placed too close to the lugs to stimulate. After comparing the photo to other photos from different sellers it became obvious that the batch being sold for 171.00 is broken. This was determined by noticing the placement of the push-button top left to the photo offered from HSN... you'll see the failing.. But I really love the design, so I will reorder from the alternate site listed on Amazon's notice description and hope I get a good one.

Irresistable Rose Gold bars & Black DS Equinox
From the first time I saw this watch advertised by another source about a year ago, I knew I must own one eventually! I discovered this watch being sold by Amazon.com, for $58 less than the other well-spring, so I ordered it, eventhough one reviewer described it "as large as a truck tire and heavy as an secure! Yes, it is heavy, but not as large as the Casio Pathfinder watch I have. Even on my thin, small wrist, this Daniel Steiger Equinox looks very luring and not out of proportion! I have never been so strongly attracted to a wrist watch before. It is keeping perfect time and with the Rose Gold ingots inlay on the subdials, I can read them easily, even with my 71-year-old eyes! Under Rated and as often as not misunderstood.
After reading the opposing negatively reviews on this product, I was reluctant to order one. Fortunately, I decide to take a look. This is an exceptionally georgous mind at a very resonable price. Several individuals reported that the watch did not work out of the box and had trouble setting the month, day and woman functions with the side buttons. Initially, I had the same problem, but fortunately remembered the old attage that you never wind or set a swiss alert backwards. After haveing ran the watch forward through a couple of twelve hour periods to take the slack out of the gears, it worked pleasant and continues to work fine. Several others described the watch as a boat anchor. It takes a lot of not enough gears in any chronomoter to keep track of the time of day (hms), day of week, day of month, month of year and phases of the moon. All chronometers are sailboat anchors, so be sure that is what you are looking for. The jewler that removed the links from my watch was wearing a $5000.00 speedboat anchor...
