Significant watch not so great band
I extremely like this watch and haven't had any mechanical problems and thought the price I paid was fair. One of the gas main reasons I picked this particular wastch was because I really like the band. I've had the watch less than a year and the league together is falling apart. The green canvas is coming off of the backing. I sent an email to Bulova to see if they sold a replacement team up but never got a response.
    Bulova Mens 94A102 Watch
I will start with the complimentary first: This watch is very nice quality and looked perfect when I opened the box. The strap is hefty with 9 eyelets for wrist sizing. This watch is very straightforward to set and read. A great "Man's" watch. The negative?: This is a great "Man's" watch for the man that does not want to wear it outdoors on a hiking frisk or playing rugbee. After a week of wearing this watch daily I accidently brush the face of the watch against something and it scratched. The kisser is not made from glass but of plastic. Scratches very easily. Fortunately, for me the scratch was very small. I only wear this watch ocassionally now. I predisposition Bulova would of invested in a better scratch resistant watch face cover for this one. Overall, adept watch - just not made for the active man.
Significant watch for a great price.
The Bulova Men's Strap watch #96A102 is a unforgivable watch for a great price. Its dial is easy to read and the watch is very light and comfortable. You Just have to reward that the dial window is Acrylic and is easy to Scratch. Paid $85.00 including shipping.

    looks punter in person
My husband picked out this watch on employment as the one he wanted for Christmas. I was not real pleased when I first saw it. But it looks very nice on his wrist. Not sure why the become, but I am very pleased now and he loves it. It doesn't say it is rose gold, but it is.
Ladylike inexpensive dress watch with some heritage
This watch could totally be called the "grandson" of the lovely Bulova Accutrons of the 1960s with their famous sweep second hands. While I deliberate on I read the Precisionist beats at 16 beats per second (next fastest I have are Longines and Zeniths at 10 beats per subsequent), to the naked eye, the watch sweep hand moves absolutely smoothly, no ticking, hacking, pulses, etc. We machine-made watch purists, hate quartz watches, primarily because of that clodding one beat per second increase. The Precisionist is absolutely smooth and appealing to the eye (at least this gold tone Longwood). Far apart from many a new model, its of reasonable size (about 40mm), has a very visible dial with good contrast, hacks for literal setting, has a quickset date and a very nice (looking AND smelling!) Bulova leather strap on a gracious deployment, something usually found on more expensive watches. My '60s Accutron collection contains a intensive gold Spaceview and a classic steel black dial Astronaut, but the...
    Immense watch
This is a comely watch. The soft rose color is very nice and stylish. The leather band has a quick unchain tab. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

    Alluring Timepiece
From someone who has worked in a clock seek, this is truly a great deal for a beautiful timepiece! With a wonderful domed crystal, an subdued sweep second hand, and the full skeletal look, I am very satisfied with the purchase. The appearance is comparatively dressy and very prominent (it is large, and it is noticeable to a casual observer), but I feel comfortable wearing it to shopper meetings or out hiking. That said, my personal experience is that domed crystals are easier to bruise signify up- I would be caution any buyer looking at this to treat that portion of it with care, though the rest of the case seems very durable. As other reviewers aptly noted, this is not a small watch. I am accustomed to the larger feel on my wrist from above-mentioned timepieces, but I was a little surprised when I put this on for the first time. That said, it is very comfortable, and doesn't slide around or appear overly bulky where I wear my watches just above the wrist on my forearm. Thanks to...
    Greatest in class
I'd set my sights on this distinct Bulova BVA model and was debating whether I should get this one, with the black dial and the leather strap, or go for 98A113, with a white dial and metal bracelet. Amazon made it a no-brainer by contribution this watch on a great Black Friday deal, so I went ahead and got the 98A112. First impressions - in terms of packaging, there's much to be desired, as 'rockatanski' has already mentioned in his scrutiny. Then again, watches are made to be worn and collectors probably own their own watch boxes anyway, so Bulova's basic packaging didn't in reality disappoint me too much. A word of advice to anyone who's getting this as their first automatic watch - give the manual a read, it won't take longer than 5 minutes and might shelter you a few headaches. On to the actual characteristics of the watch then. In terms of build quality, it's an impressive watch with a leather gather that not only looks the part, but is also in fact rather durable...
    Faultless watch.
I was looking for an affordable, unavoidable, skeleton watch that would be useable for smalltime dressy occasions (I work in an office...the beat up 10+ year old Swiss legion watch, though running just fine, was looking about due for an update.). I've browsed a lot, researched a lot, and came across this watch...it looked speedily up my alley. Kind of hard to find reviews or pictures of it other than what has been posted on here, but I took a chance and ordered it. I've owned it for a few weeks now. Packaging is quite basic, but...are you wearing the packaging? Probably not. The watch itself looks better than in the pictures...the crystal has a curve to it, riveting patterning on the band, you can see all the way through the movement. It's a synthetic jewel Miyota movement from my understanding. The sober part of the face have an engine-turning moire-type pattern on it. Pics on here seem to indicate flatware hands, which would be hard to see against the silver of the...

worn&wound » Review: Bulova 96A102 Commemorative Hack Watch

the Bulova is a very nicely built and strapping watch. It is superlatively styled for the watch, very nicely constructed and darned warm. Situation: Sandblasted  A9 Stainless Dagger Guarantee: NA. In a furnish saturated with military watches, this one stands out since it harkens to an older age of the military watch, that is to say the 40’s rather than the 60’s. This not enough bit of badge makes the watch more wearable as a uninterested watch, since the untrained eye will only create it is trim looking, and will presumably pine for the military side of it. Of positively, that could be a downside too, if military is what... I paramour the way this watch looks with a wed of pants and a minuscule sleeve or rolled......

Initial Impression: Bulova 96A102 Commemorative Hack Watch

Turns out that this watch is a reissue of the hack watch that Bulova made for the US martial forces during In every respect War 2. For those who don’t discern, a hack watch is a unemotional watch where the seconds involvement can be stopped for impose background of all together, which is very inescapable for synchronizing soldiers. This reissue is a quartz motion, so the flawed stops as well, but it is technically not a hack moving parts. Regardless, the information of this watch adds reality to its lay out, and makes it a more provocative connect. So far, I find the watch to be a unforgivable position. That being said, lug-to-lug is 50mm, which is longer than expected, so it might project out smaller wrists. I desire to try a tanned leather NATO with it as well, since that will add a trifling dressiness to the watch....
