Accutron Astronaut Meagre Edition
A careful homage of the original 214 Tuning Fork driven Astronaut Watch. It now has an ETA 2893-2 inescapable, mechanical 21-jewel GMT movement, with a large red-tipped 24-hour keeping and fixed anodized 24-hour bezel. Other features are a sapphire crystal, a very durable, stainless steel bracelet with a locking deployment buckle closure, 100m unstintingly resistance, and a four-screw exhibition caseback, numbered to show each piece's position within the limited run. It is also etched with the signature stamp of approval of former astronaut and moon-walker Buzz Aldrin. This Astronaut version is larger than the beginning though the case is similarly shaped. It has a functional but very small crown on the side which the original didn't (the hands were set from the caseback). I rated it only 4 stars because of the firm bezel, which limits its use as a multi-time zone watch, and the poor luminous colour used on the hands and minute markers. No excuse for poor "lume" with the very high-mindedness Super Luminova...

looks ameliorate in person
My tranquillity picked out this watch on line as the one he wanted for Christmas. I was not real pleased when I first saw it. But it looks very tidy on his wrist. Not sure why the change, but I am very pleased now and he loves it. It doesn't say it is rose gold, but it is.
Keen inexpensive dress watch with some heritage
This protect could fairly be called the "grandson" of the lovely Bulova Accutrons of the 1960s with their famous sweep other hands. While I think I read the Precisionist beats at 16 beats per second (next fastest I have are Longines and Zeniths at 10 beats per twinkling), to the naked eye, the watch sweep hand moves absolutely smoothly, no ticking, hacking, pulses, etc. We mechanistic watch purists, hate quartz watches, primarily because of that clodding one beat per half a mo movement. The Precisionist is absolutely smooth and appealing to the eye (at least this gold tone Longwood). In contradistinction to many a new model, its of reasonable size (about 40mm), has a very visible dial with good contrast, hacks for call for setting, has a quickset date and a very nice (looking AND smelling!) Bulova leather strap on a gracious deployment, something usually found on more expensive watches. This is a well done watch. The soft rose color is very nice and stylish. The leather band has a nimble release tab. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Perilous back-up watch
I bought this to use until I could make good on the battery in my Omega dive watch. It's sleek, thin, weightless, inexpensive and nice looking for the mediation. I didn't miss the second-hand unless I was timing spaghetti, but it could be a problem if the freestyle dies, since you wouldn't notice for awhile, and there's no sound to check. I never missed the date window. It's a accurate, more readable alternative to a tiny "ladies' watch." The band is a bit too glossy and effeminate for a permanent man's watch.
RIP OFF!
The merchandise was terrible. It stopped working after using it just for a week. The handle then fell off the clock. I gave the clock as a confer on and it made me look horrible. Do not waste your money with this clock.
