I have yearn wanted to have my Seiko Kinetic repaired but have been reluctant to send it off. I ordered the kit despite the fact that one of the reviews stated that the kit wasn't open Seiko parts and didn't contain the proper battery and was missing a part. Given that the other reviews stated that their kits were whole and contained the proper battery I ordered the kit and found it complete and it also contained the proper battery. I had also found the instructions referenced in one of the other reviews and they were gigantic. A complete step by step instruction with pictures made it a very easy task. I am 100% tickled pink with the price and the kit itself and very happy to have my Seiko back in operation.

Astute Seiko Kinetic repair
This Capacitor renovation part included the "capacitor", insulator, and metal bracket. This is a fairly quick fix if you have the right tools. I stand up for you do a search on "WS 26 How to change the Capacitor of a SEIKO 5M42* Kinetic *and 5M22, 5M23, 5M43 etc." in google. The author outlines the tools you need and gives you some pictures and steps to follow. Took a few minutes to get an old Seiko Kinetic up and game again at a decent price.

righteous what i needed
I bought this battery to return the original capacitor in my 5m43. It is a perfect fit.. works right away.. so far so good.. from what I've infer from, this battery should last you at least 8 years, and when fully charged, you can leave it for up to 6 months and it'll keep on ticking.. and then you will have to charge it again by wearing the accompany.. Its a Maxwell lith-ion battery and came with a new seal and battery bracket.

A petty fancy for me
Owned for 2 months, received as a premium.Stainless steel band and midnight blue face are a combination of tough and ritual. Good for work if you have a clean job. My job isn't so clean, so I wear it after work and weekends.Since I'm not wearing it continuously, the activity runs out of gas occasionally. So I get lots of practice setting the time (and day and date), which requires a half dozen more steps than a straightforward quartz watch.For instance, the stem has three positions: retracted, middle, and pulled out all the way. And, the instructions say NOT to set the keep a sharp lookout for between 9 PM and 4 AM, which is to avoid some ambiguities as the mechanical day/date changes around midnight.Making a long detective story short, you play with the stem a few times and learn how it behaves. You realize setting the opportunity between 9 PM and 4 AM is not prohibited, but is instead easily done. All in all, a small learning curve that you should be aware exists, but...

A sound automatic watch at a reasonable price
Let me start off by saying I researched for about five months before buying this superintend. I looked at many automatic watches, ranging from the cheapest to the most expensive I could afford in a couple of years. I was torn between redemptional up for an Omega Speedmaster Chronometer with Day&Date which would cost somewhere around $3,500.00 or getting a low end Fossil self-regulating with Day,Date,&Month. I actually ended up getting the Fossil ME1030 (For those of you who were thinking about this eye). It was heavy (making my hand numb) and could not keep time. I had it for a month and a half. The more I wore it the more seconds it gained a day. It would extend from gaining 15 to 45 seconds a day. I ended up returning it, realizing how important accurate time keeping was to me. And don't listen to people who say, "Automatics can't really be precise or accurate." Do your digging and you'll find out that there are some automatics that can keep quit accurate and precise time...

Seiko Legitimate Watch GREAT PRICE!
i am article this through the mrs account but what the heck. ordered this automatic seiko to replace the invicta pro diver which seemed to have gone kaput on me. well i was in greece and notification that the invicta was like 1/2 late. the watch has stopped somewhere along the way- so the invicta which i loved which i owned for tolerably much exactly 2 years. the invicta stopped and started every now and again - the movement on the invicta is a citizen guard company miyota 8162 - but i digress...anywho - i was looking for another watch - something i didn't have to return batteries for (actually i ended up buying 2 watches from amazon - the seiko and a casio g-shock to) and decided against solar, kinetic, eco-drive watches. they have an internal rechargeable battery which as anyone knows rechargeable batteries at some matter would no longer hold a charge.so i was looking for another automatic - i thought about getting another invicta but unconditional against it -...

Smart and Well-Made Seiko
Another reviewer remarked that the role of a watch is determined by its complications, a sentiment I agree with after owning a Seiko Kinetic. This watch is very accurate: I consideration a slight variance because I sync all my watches monthly to Fort Collins, but for the average guy this ought not be a dominant issue. The stainless steel case and bracelet give it a comfortable heft, and looks first-rate as a casual, active, or dressy affair. An all-around great buy.

Vast timepiece
Grand timekeeper. In one months time and clocked against WWV atomic timer in Colorado.( a world timekeeper guideline) my watch lost almost a half of a minute.Not bad, 26 seconds lost in 30 period! Its a handsome mens watch, but the blue face is very dark and it could have been a wee bit lighter. Face looks embargo in low light levels, but very dark blue in sunlight.It stores lots of time in its power satisfy recharged by wearing it.Which means you can not wear it for a long time and it keeps running. I'm blithe.

If you like a going watch then this is the one. Easy to read time, day and date....and a Kinetic battery charge that keeps the wait for running as long as it is worn. To date my watch is about 80% charged and the time is spot on target to the second. Adjusting the watch band is not easy, there are arrow indicators on the back of the links showing directions of saving. I found no information in the operating instructions, but figured out how to make the adjustment. Watch looks and feels healthy to wear.

My tranquillize's watch stopped working a while back, but i wonder if its because he hardly wore it. If it does have a battery, should i substitute it anyway.
If it has a battery and you return it and he doesn't wear it often, pull the stem to stop the watch while he's not wearing it.
