The Seiko Men's Episode Kinetic Diver Watch isn't quite ready to travel 20,000 leagues under the sea, but this adventurous timepiece will be linked with you down an impressive 660 feet. Constructed with a strong stainless steel case, the guard includes a grooved, unidirectional stainless steel bezel with white seconds indexes, and a ruffian urethane strap with a secure buckle strap. A durable hardlex window protects the embargo dial face, which features large white dot-and-arrow hour markers. The dial also includes spotless minute markers, complementary watch hands, and a convenient date calendar at three o'clock. The care for is powered by kinetic movement. It is presented in a luxuriously padded Seiko case.

Smart, rugged and awesome watch
I was looking for a diver keep a sharp lookout for, and didn't really get a great sense for the products out there. Invicta was one brand I had purchased, and i was entirely unhappy with the quality (the bezel was hard to turn, the crown was clunky). Anyhow, with few reviews of this Kinetic Diver, I unqualified to bite the bullet and buy it.IT has been the best watch purchase i've made. This is a quality, rugged and elegant portion. It is so resilient, that inspite of bumping it around - it has not one scratch! The bezel moves like silk, and the actually that its kinetic adds to the cool factor.The rubber/polyurethane strap is extremely comfortable and pliable (unlike other rubber straps I've seen).This is a great watch to have - especially if you like some. the only gripe i have is that Seiko doesnt seem to have great accessories (So i am having a hard time finding a blade bracelet for it to swap out).
A Genuine Buy for A Good Watch
I checked out many dive watches for: mode, price, size, quality, reliability, and just plain good looks. I settled on The Seiko Chance Kinetic Diver's Watch.I have had Seikos and Seiko Kinetic watches before. I know they are nice watches but the Kinetic system particularly offers better playing over Automatics.This watch arrived yesterday so my short term review is: The Adventure Kinetic looks as a matter of fact good in person, has nice build quality, seems accurate, the rubber band is carefree on MY wrist, and for the price I paid makes for a good deal.With Seiko you get what you pay for. Is this watch "better" than an Omega Diver's be careful of or a Tag Diver maybe not. But for a watch that keeps time well, has classic good looks and is affordable the Seiko beats them hands down.

A incomparable watch
This ogle looks great, never needs winding, and is a great weight. I have had other automatic watches that didn't occupation for me -- I take my watch off when I'm working at my desk so they don't always get enough "activity" to stay wound, but it's not a problem with this circumspect. I travel a lot, and one of the things I like about this watch is that it is dead simple. Easy to change in the good old days b simultaneously zones without messing up a bunch of settings.I recently lost this watch and found it again after I did my laundry. So, I can safely say it is washing machinr stubborn -- no ill effects after a strenuous trip through the heavy duty cycle. And it got really dazzling.Please note that this is essentially the same watch as the Seiko SKA427P2 which is anout $30 cheaper. They are identical except for the case redden, and I actually think the SKA427P2 looks a little classier. Just don't by it from bluedial watches -- they don't surrebutter e-mails or provide any support.

An gripping blend of tool-watch and jewel-watch
Ever since my Seiko "Orange Awfulness" (SKX781) quit I had been looking for a dive watch to replace it that was both more accurate than an automatic (my Monster would inveterately be off by five minutes each week) and yet not require a battery change. Changing batteries is both a pain and not eco-pleasant, and I just plain hate doing it. I looked for about a year at the Seiko "Black Knight" kinetic (SMY089) that Princeton exclusively offers as well as Town-dweller solar-powered (Eco-Drive) dive watches, liking neither options especially well. I wanted a big, solid diver with a insignificant certain something extra - much like my Monster - and the Seiko SKA371 seems to be it.First, the watch seems quite well made. It is much more finely polished than my Monster and light-years ahead of Citizen's watches as far as build quality goes. Diver or Bedeck Watch? Lucky you, it's 2 for 1!
I'm posting my observations on my securing of a Seiko SKA371P. First a little background. Got to admit that I've always been a "dive watch" aficionado. In a past "life" I needed a sturdy watch with good lume and easy to read at a glance. Seiko dive watches fit the bill. Well, the demise of my Seiko automatic dive (can't over recall of the model but it had day/date; rotating bezel; black dial and originally came with a rubber alert for band) watch accelerated my decision. It was a good watch but within the past month it would taking 15 min behind. Anyway, even though my life has changed my original requirements haven't: dive watch style; beneficent lume; date; bracelet (not rubber this time); black face; rotating bezel; and instinctual....no batteries; and affordable. Huge Looking and Practical
After owning this merchandise for a little over a year, beating it up day in and day out, and also having comparing it to countless other watches I've decided that my old review (4 stars) was still unfairly low, as this circumspect is an uniquely excellent product. As I noted in my old review, I am hard on watches. My job can involve running, louring lifting, squeezing into tight places, climbing, ect, and this means my watch is subject to bumps, scrapes, unconscionable movement, and sometimes harsh chemical cleaners, ect. I can also be pretty active and spend time shell when I'm not working. Because of this, I'm hard on watches, and I have wrecked many an inexpensive wristwatch before its time. This watch has shrugged off mignonne nearly everything I could hand it, and apart from being slightly grimy and having a small scratch on the sparkler that I can just barely see at certain angles, it has been pretty much untouched. Seiko Orange Living abortion Automatic Dive Watch
Bought the wary of from Amazon Sunday evening and it arrived on Thursday evening with the 5-day delivery service. I've had it for a few time and I am extremely happy with it. I also own a Rolex Submariner, Breitling Chronomat, Omega Seamaster Chrono, Patrial Nighthawk, and some assorted Casios and Timexes. This Seiko automatic watch ranks just a curls below the $2000+ Swiss watches, but for under $200, it's an unbelievable value. The quality and workmanship are excellent for a rate in this range. For example, the second and minute hands line up exactly with the hash marks; when the later hand hits 12, the minute hand is algined precisely with the minute gallimaufry mark. Wow, I've seen $1000 Swiss quartz watches that don't do that. The assembly of all the components look top groove. The rotating bezel has a precision feel and the click-stops align exactly with the hodgepodge marks on the dial. The alphanumeric markings, Lumbrite markers, and hands appear of tainted quality. Very Stable & Looks Good too!
I've had a lot of watches in my mortal. Some dressy, some functional, and some practically indestructible. This watch is a combination of all these factors. Very solid warmth (and much heavier than my titanium dive watch). Looks great and functions well. I also like the wetsuit bond which allows a quick adjustment to fit over your wetsuit. The orange face is very legible, and at night, the anticipate glows almost bright enough to read by! The clasp is very secure, with a dual button release and an addition clasp to prevent accidental opening. Day & date are easy to adjust and very readable (much raise than my Citizen). This is a solid performing watch and worth the money!
