trim large watch
My other Seiko kinetic is a 12-year old paragon (vintage by now i guess) one of the first kinetic watches sold. It is still working fine, after a replaced kinetic capacitor.I was looking for another Seiko Kinetic, and this guard caught my eye. It is certainly very unique in style. It is large, and you may even say, bulky. But it feels surprisingly relaxing on my wrist, and even though it feels heavy - i got used to wearing it pretty quickly. The Black IP bezel has a very unexcelled look, especially with the 4 hex head screws around it, but dont be fooled - the hex screws are total decoys - na metal buttons with hex slots glued into the round holes in the bezel. :) I like watches with enough dissimilarity in color between the face and the hands - this watch has a black face, and the hands are white with sharp green inlets. Seiko has quite a few models currently where there is not enough contrast between the face and the hands, and I find them well-defined to use if you need to tell time...
Monstrous Watch
This is my fourth Seiko. This kinetic GMT could almost certainly be the best bang for your back offer at the moment. Kinetic japanese movement, a solid stainless screw up one's courage to the sticking point watch for this price, well you should really buy it right away while they last.Its a bit bulky and heavy, lighter than my seiko kinetic sportura chrono tho, 8 times more affordable aswell! If you don`t like crucial watches maybe you should look for another option with a rubber band and a smaller case.Looks:Every detail is proficient, I love the design, very elegant and sporty at the same time, the bracelet is wide and thick not like those other brands providing reasonably materials. I`m absolutely sure this watch will last for a very long time as I`m really familiar with how well Seikos take a attractive thorough beating.

WHAT A Imaginary WATCH.. I HAVE OWNED SEIKO WATCHES SINCE I CAN REMEMBER AND THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST!THE ONLY DOWN SIDE TO THIS PURCHASE WAS THE FACT I HAD TO PAY THE COURIER A FURTHER £48 UK TAX!!!..Mind-boggling!!!BUT AT JUST OVER £200 AND UNAVAILABLE IN THE UK ITS STILL WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Seiko SUN008 Kinetic GMT Surveillance Purchased On Amazon
Seiko initially released its "Kinetic" Repositioning almost a decade ago and, over the years, they've repeatedly upgraded the technology. While I understand that some early movements had 'issues' (like vest-pocket-life capacitors, excessive gear-train backlash, etc.), I have to 'give credit where probity is due' and add that Seiko effectively addressed and resolved these problems. In my honest opinion, they now have an outstanding and quite personal (plus relatively-inexpensive) alternative to regular, battery-powered, quartz watches!Indeed, my new SUN007 (that I purchased from Amazon) rapidly (and elegantly) combines the impeccable accuracy of a quartz watch with the auto-winding talent of a mechanical design. The result is a watch that has the best of BOTH worlds; i.e., a +1/sec. per month preciseness and NEVER needs a battery! Stopped working after a very needful of time
I purchased this alert for from Amazon through a retailer named from Jomashop on 22 March 2009, it arrived at my rest-home on 27 March 2009. Unfortunately, it stopped working on 29 April 2009 after decent about 1 month of operation. One thing that I noticed about this watch that was unusual was that the kinetic indicator never showed more than 1-7 duration worth of energy stored in it, though I wore it every day. On 28 April I noticed that the second transfer was advancing in 2 second increments (indicating that it was running out of power), the next day the watch stopped operating.I have contacted Jomashop the retailer that sold this watch over to me through Amazon.com regarding my options for return or repair. Big, Gloomy, Basic, Beautiful
The be vigilant for arrived with no problems. I was a little hesitant about it being able to charge itself up due to the directions which state it requirements a lot of wrist action to get fully charged. I'm not as physically active as I once was (64 y/o) and I was dreading buying an conditioned winder; the damn things are really expensive. But as it has developed it took less than a month for it to be fully charged objective w/my normal daily motions (I do an elliptical x3 for an hour at the gym weekly tho). It keeps regular quartz period-which is only a few seconds off per month usually. This watch is big/heavy-but I like it. I think it looks kool; all threatening. The one con appears to be that the black on my band is wearing off where I clunk it against things as well as the clasp where it makes with with my desk etc.; not bad-but noticing the steel color underneath. A very nice looking and well functioning watchful of in my opinion. I would recommend it.

Unbelievable GMT
This is an formidable man's man watch. Thick, good looking and functional. Never needs winding or a battery. If you travel and interchange time zones this is a must watch. Easy to adjust.
A powdery piece of craftmanship
I have been wearing this chaperon for a couple weeks now and am entirely satisfied with my choice. I upgraded from a similar Seiko Series 5 after dealing with an point with capacitor leakage common in the earlier Kinetic watches. These issues have now been resolved through Seiko. The self charging cosmos of the Seiko Kinetics is a very nice feature since there are no batteries to change -- ever. Straight out the box, the watch already held about 1 month of care (movement during shipping I suppose) and after a week of normal use (8+ hours a day) the watch is be considerate for a full six months if I was to set it aside.The watch is solid and therefore heavy and may seem awkward to someone moving up from a smaller wait for. My previous Seiko had a 39mm bezel and there was a noticeable difference in weight and bulk between the two. Not Definitely Like Picture
The line picture is apparently an artists drawing rather than a photo as the actual watch has a power cache check button that is not on the pictured watch.This watch is big. Measured width including the government is a full 51mm or 2". The bezel is 43mm to 44.5mm and measured through the center of the face the case diameter is about 49+mm due to the mind for the crown. Also heavy at about 7 ounces so be warned. Not for those with small wrists! I personally like the size and mobilize which are pretty much the style for mens sports watches currently. There are lots of larger mens watches including many in circulation Invictas.Finish on both the watch and bracelet appear flawless. This is definitely a well finished keep one's eyes peeled.
