An Bonzer Watch With One Small Criticism
My old lady commented to me on the attractiveness of this watch, something she has never done before as she doesn't own a watch, and has no interest in them. It is a beautiful timepiece.What can you really say other than what is listed in the specifications. It works impartial fine, and keeps perfect time.So, what is my small criticism? There is a lot of gold and white coloring on the physiognomy of the watch, and there is a lot of gold and white on the hands. The problem is that at certain times it is somewhat burdensome to distinguish the hands from the background. If you have perfect eyesight this might not be a problem. My eyes are decidedly not masterful. Gone are the days when I can surreptitiously glance at my watch while listening to some boring conversationalist. I principally have to bring the watch to about a foot from my face to read the hands.Still it is a great watch, and I have a hunch compelled to give it a full five stars.

A Superb Wonder!
If you've thrive this far and are reading this you're instincts are right, there is something about this watch that makes it stand out and sets it apart from the myriad greyish and gold watches out there.First of all, the picture does absolutely no justice to the watch, the pic you see on amazon is a simulated trope, it doesn't capture it's real beauty and refined elegance, a picture can't do justice to it because of it's cogitative nature.Seiko has crafted a gem of a timepiece with this watch, with so many features at such a comparatively low price- it easily looks at least value a couple grand, you will not find a quartz watch like it out there. I had reservations about the size of the dial and girlfriend window but it's perfect, the size and fit is perfect even on my small 7 inch wrists after removing a three links (which btw was a very quick & simple DIY).Seiko should be more vocal about the accuracy of this watch which is amazing, I've synchronized it...

Fades in the spread
I wore this await happily for about a year and a half. It is a handsome timepiece, it feels extremely solid and it kept realize time . . . until it didn't. This is the second Seiko kinetic watch I have owned that has begun failing to keep and confine a charge after a relatively short period of use. The second hand started skipping in two-defective intervals (indicating a low charge) and shaking the watch back and forth as recommended in the instructions only keeps it working normally for a few hours. The kinetic-moving mechanism in Seiko watches is fine in principle but it doesn't appear to be reliable in the long run.

Honourable Kinetic Watch
This is my 4th Kinetic attend to the other 3 being Seiko. I am pleased with it and would have given it 5 stars but for a couple of issues. One is it is quite large and heavy, it also does not have a saphire semiprecious stone, and it turns a very dark brown color and does not stay truly black. One bigger plus is that it is very easy to read the dial which I can not say about my 2 Seikos with white dials and gold everything else. My 1st Seiko which is over 10 years old and is gold ingots on gold still works and is the lightests and smallest of all but does not hold a charge more then a week. Complete I am pleased with this purchase.

Went through 2 of these and gave up
I got this sentry for my Anniversary. After 4 months the second hand (the red hand) started counting of in 2 second increments and the babysit for was no longer accurate. I had the cell replaced but this did not fix the problem. The store where it was purchase happily replaced the chaperon on the spot (for the exact same model)and they even sized it for me again at no charge. I never thought to check that the new replacement watch was working correctly, and as I was wearing it poorhouse I noticed that this brand new watch was malfunctioning in the same exact way as my original watch!I returned it again and the adept said that she was going to pull all of her Kinetic Pulsars out of the case and have them checked out. She seemed to think this had to be a defect in the by-product itself. Perhaps this was just a bad lot of watches they received, I don't want to alarm everyone. ****UPDATE***After due under 2 months of owning this watch, I have gone thru 2 watches due to defects and am about to give up on it.The first one ended up with condensation under the gemstone. I got a replacement from the store I bought it from with no problem. However the 2nd one was ticking two times ever two seconds, however it kept era correctly so I let it go. Then all of a sudden it started ticking correctly so I was happy.However last night the condensation under the rock returned to this new watch. I have had it at this point, and will be moving to a Seiko or Citizen brand watch.Good chances to anyone else who gives this watch a try. I wanted to love it, but it just wasn't meant to be.I have reduced my rating from a 4 to a 2 due to these issues. Seiko SUN008 Kinetic GMT Attend to Purchased On Amazon
Seiko initially released its "Kinetic" Flow almost a decade ago and, over the years, they've repeatedly upgraded the technology. While I understand that some early movements had 'issues' (like scarce-life capacitors, excessive gear-train backlash, etc.), I have to 'give credit where probity is due' and add that Seiko effectively addressed and resolved these problems. In my honest opinion, they now have an outstanding and quite practical (bonus relatively-inexpensive) alternative to regular, battery-powered, quartz watches!Indeed, my new SUN007 (that I purchased from Amazon) fast (and elegantly) combines the impeccable accuracy of a quartz watch with the auto-winding talent of a mechanical design. The result is a watch that has the best of BOTH worlds; i.e., a +1/sec. per month preciseness and NEVER needs a battery! Stopped working after a very butt in fail time
I purchased this observe from Amazon through a retailer named from Jomashop on 22 March 2009, it arrived at my harshly on 27 March 2009. Unfortunately, it stopped working on 29 April 2009 after neutral about 1 month of operation. One thing that I noticed about this watch that was unusual was that the kinetic indicator never showed more than 1-7 period worth of energy stored in it, though I wore it every day. On 28 April I noticed that the second part was advancing in 2 second increments (indicating that it was running out of power), the next day the watch stopped operating.I have contacted Jomashop the retailer that sold this vigilant to me through Amazon.com regarding my options for return or repair. Big, Upsetting, Basic, Beautiful
The pay attention to arrived with no problems. I was a little hesitant about it being able to charge itself up due to the directions which state it needs a lot of wrist spirit to get fully charged. I'm not as physically active as I once was (64 y/o) and I was dreading buying an automatic winder; the sentence things are really expensive. But as it has developed it took less than a month for it to be fully charged honest w/my normal daily motions (I do an elliptical x3 for an hour at the gym weekly tho). It keeps regular quartz in unison a all the same-which is only a few seconds off per month usually. This watch is big/heavy-but I like it. I think it looks kool; all treacherous. The one con appears to be that the black on my band is wearing off where I clunk it against things as well as the clasp where it makes get hold of with my desk etc.; not bad-but noticing the steel color underneath. A very nice looking and well functioning regard in my opinion. I would recommend it.
