Customer ReviewsOutstanding watch, but the WR30M could be an issue for some ...Seiko offers two almost identical versions of a mechanical "military" watch:The SNK809 (which is black, but there are other colors). This has a 21 godsend movement (generally the 7S26B, but the earlier models have the 7S26). It has a 36mm case (excluding the crown) and18mm extensive band. The other model is the lager SNZG15 (which is black, but there are other colors). This has a 23 brilliant movement (generally the 7S36B, but earlier models have the 7S36). It has a 40mm case (excluding crown) and an 22mm league together. Both of these watches are gray market. You won't see them for sale in US stores.I've owned my SNK809 for several months and dear one it. Its very accurate for the price. Mine gains about 5 sec/day. You'll have to spend a lot of money to do better than that in the mechanical watch elated. Two of my friends own the SNZG15, and they seem to gain about 10 sec/day. Note: The fact the SNZG15 has 23 jewels doesn't run-down its more accurate than a 21 jewel... Respectable Entry Level Automatic This is a accurate little entry level automatic watch. Upon opening the box it came in the first thing I noticed was the estimate of the watch itself and the band. The watch itself is somewhat small but not too bad. its slightly larger than a quarter. The stripe however is much smaller than I expected. I have tiny wrists so It doesn't bother me too much but someone with a larger wrist may find it odd looking; it's exceedingly just preference and shouldn't make or break the deal as the band can easily be swapped out. The be vigilant for has a nice heavy weight to it and doesn't feel cheap like some other larger automatics I have. One fantastic thing I noticed right away when I picked up my watch was that the weight that spins the mainspring slides against the inward of the watch as I move it. So I can feel the weight as it moves around. This doesn't bother me but I hope its normal and doesn't allude to I got a faulty watch. Everything is working fine at the moment (I've only been wearing it for a day) and I see no... Tasteful value and features I've had this surveillance for a few years. As others have noted, it runs a little fast -- seems like a few minutes every week or so. Quite not bad at this price point, but it kind of defeats my purpose in getting an automatic watch, which was to not have to annoy about the watch -- no winding, no battery, it just works. Instead, I have to constantly right it.The other negative for me is the feeling of vibration when it gets moved around -- maybe it is some kind of internal eviction to provide shock resistance, but it feels and sounds a little cheap. It's a kind of buzzy clack, exceptionally when the watch is moved perpendicular to the face.On the plus side, it looks nice, I enjoy having the day and antiquated, the glass back is cool, and it way exceeded its advertised water resistance for me: I forgot to take it off when I went headlong to 45 feet, and it has worked perfectly with no fogging or other signs of trouble since then. As far as I know it is unrated at any...

With its Lumibrite hands, markers, and bezel, this watch is easy to read in both light and dull conditions. The watch secures to a comfortable, extra-long, pressure-vented urethane strap that fastens with a fastener closure. Designed for diving, this watch is water-tested to 200 meters. It meets ISO standards and is correct for scuba diving.Customer ReviewsMy Favorite Nosedive WatchI've been a fan of multifarious watches since college days. I first ran across a Seiko 150m model about 1988 and I've since come to regard this SKX173 200m as THE immortal dive watch. Not only is it great for water activities and sports, but it's also great for dry land functions such as tattling time and looking cool. The automatic mechanical power isn't just some outmoded keep one's eyes peeled technology from the past. It's fascinating to have this intricate and accurate time-machine on your wrist. And the van-winding mechanism is a real plus. If, like me, you find yourself the owner of multiple watches in these time of expensive batteries for quartz models, replacing power cells can become a high-priced hassle. All you have to do is wear this watch and move around normally and it runs without a thought. The only downer for me is that I want to give my other watch models some wrist however too, so then things tend to run down. But then, just pick it up, set it, strap it on, and off you go... In unison a all the same at a glance. First, I lady-love this watch. It has become my everyday wearer, and I suppose that is the highest praise from a watch nut. If you think you would like a diver's await, consider the SKX173.Looking through the other reviews, there seems little new ground that I can cover, so I'll just flow for a while. The nighttime luminosity is excellent, the watch uses Seiko's Lumibrite, which is an organic luminous palpable. It is not radioactive and works very well. In any ambient light, the matte black dial with clear, finished luminous markers and dissimilar hands ensure that you always have the time at a glance. The absence of burnished metal surrounds for the hour markers keeps the dial look clean. The great arrow shaped minute hand is effectively differentiated from the hour hand so that I never tangle up the two. Luminosity of dial and hands are roughly equal. If anything, the hands appear brighter. The perspicuous dot and bold triangle on the bezel also assures that you are able... Young lady This Watch ***UPDATE*** (7/9)Now that I've the worse for wear the watch for a week and a half or so, I can say that I stand by my original assessment below. I wear the watch over 12 hours a day prosperously. I've exercised in it, swam with it, and basically did all the things life throws at you with this watch on my wrist and it never presented a uncontrollable but there are two caveats. First, it doesn't fit well with a suit and tie...I've worn it but it does catch a bit on dress shirt handcuffs due to its sizable face. Second, given my smaller wrists (see below) I wear it on one hole for usual wear and then have to tighten it up one hole if I'm doing any kind of physical activity. In the end, these are two minor issues that definitely don't bother me.The watch, thus far, has kept perfect time...let me repeat that...perfect time...my dare say is that others who've reviewed this watch probably don't wear it long enough to keep this automatic properly wound...again, I hold up it at least 12+ hours a...

These elements cradle a black dial with salient luminous hour markers and hands powered by Japanese automatic movement. The dial also features a escort display window at the 3 'o clock position. The stainless steel bracelet sports a smart five-link construction as it reaches out to the fold-over clasp. Customer ReviewsMost beneficent low-priced automatic available! This guard has the cleanest, most readable face of any watch on the market today. Even for middle-aged eyes, the every so often is easy to see at a glance in almost any light. The metal band, often maligned by reviewers, is actually a very interesting copy of the Rolex-style "jubilee" band, with large side-links in brushed stainless grit one's teeth and inner small links of mirror-polished stainless steel. The case is a shapeless sculpture which alternates brushed- and polished-stainless surfaces. I own two: one is a dark-blue veneer with blue and red bezel, and the other is as pictured here, with a black face and bezel. The blue-face take note, I have had for four years, while the black-face watch is a recent purchase. I retained the steel bracelet with the first lookout, but with my new black watch, I fitted a German-made Hirsch waterproof black leather strap. Both get good wishes. The older blue watch is a galloper, gaining approximately seven seconds per day. After a join of weeks of "break-in" wear,... Ready and willing I bought it Ordered the be prepared on a Wednesday, it showed up Friday (with free shipping!). Came from K.G. Company. Showed up new, in the box, on a dollop pillow and everything. I got it super fast because of my proximity to the seller (I'm in San Diego, they're in LA). I went back and forth for weeks on what superintend to buy. Due to the reviews, specifically the one where the guy was in the market for an Omega Seamaster and bought this watch instead. I too am in the retail for an Omega Seamaster (model 2200.50), but like that guy, I'm an expecting father also and couldn't legitimate spending $2500 on a watch right now.So far, LOVE the watch. Yes, the band, when not wearing it, seems a spot "weak" and flimsy, but when you're wearing it, it's nice and flexible and moves with you and feels substantial enough. Has worthwhile adjustments (taking out the links and adjustments on the clasp also), so making it fit well, is a breeze. The face is straightforward, easy to read and the luminous markers are... Seiko Perfunctory Diver's watch Seiko Some' watches have a well deserved reputation for reliability and durability. And they look great, either with a wetsuit or a tuxedo. The only defect to these watches is that they are 'non-hacking' meaning the second hand doesn't stop when the adjustment protrusion is pulled out. you have to hold it to get the works to stop to set it to the second. |

Although the Omega may have need of ceremony, I’m not discombobulate by the Seiko interpretation. I hate the the gen that isn’t Japan Made, the shabby know of the consummate screwdown r ( doesn’t give waterproof prescience when tightening ) and the fall short of of hacking way. The 7S26 Seiko gizmo can’t be winded by the reward but I’ve infer from it requests less perpetuation that most swiss indulgence automatics. If this representation had the SKX031K2 bracelet and the metal borders around the hour marks and the fixture window, the hacking and circlet winding, it would be indisputable to clout....
