About Seiko Customer ReviewsLook And Think of a $600.00+ TimepieceThis inspect is also known as the Seiko Gadget, Seiko Landshark, Atlas, etc. It's not as eye-catching as the famed Seiko Black Monster Various Watch but I think it's more elegant looking and has a better steel bracelet.I bought it for it's looks, not because it's a sundry watch. It's rated at 200m; that's pretty deep; not many of us are ever going down that far even with scuba equipment. There are many Rolex Submariner look-alike watches out there; Seiko makes one too. This is not one of them. It has some arabic numbers as an alternative of markers and the lume is very good in the dark. The black face with the contrasting yellow hands looks legitimate sharp. The calendar display is large enough to be seen without the usually useless cyclops magnifier found on many diver watches (including the Rolex). It has the look of stony precision equipment; like an old Nikon 35mm camera or a Leatherman tool knife. The unaffected surprise is the stainless steel bracelet. It is... Seiko 5 Diagram Diver, Great Watch Needed to pick up a new make eyes at look for after my last Seiko died after 4 years of use. That watch was a basic Chrono still selling here and other places for around $120, and I must say that the Plot is much nicer and has better overall build and feel. Easily justifies the $75 more I paid for it.The faction is also very smooth, compared to the previous Chrono which had the tick, tick movement. The band is wonderful nice, as well as the locking clasp. Both are sturdy and safe. I was also able to remove links myself with a few tools at placid and was wearing it the same day I got it. Google watch link removal.Looks very nice, some reviewers have said it is "big" and it is, however, I'm thin and have smaller wrists and it still frenzy well and is comfortable. (I am 6'1" 170 lbs.)I did put a small scratch in the crystal already, so I don't think it's as hard as some. The compass is breed of silly. Watch me say that and then get lost in the... It's material. This is a robust watch that looks expensive. The extra dial on this thing operates a compass spot on the watch, which probably is not very useful for most people.Otherwise I'm very impressed with the quality and appearance of the watch. The sparkler on this piece is very hard -- I haven't scratched or dinged it yet, and I'm horribly tough on watches. Keeps gigantic time. Winds itself.Overall, a great value for a quality watch.
Seiko 5 Sports #SNZF17K1 Men's 100M Diver Automatic Watch
Details
DescriptionSEIKO 5 - the connotation of the "5" A great marketer had the idea in the 70ies: to be a SEIKO 5, the watch has to have the following 5 (five) attributes (thus the name SEIKO 5): 1. Inescapable, 2. Water resistant, 3. Shock resistant, 4. Date, 5. Day. Please note that some SEIKO 5's are in information SEIKO 4's, if the "Day" function is omitted, then the Caliber 7S25 is used. The only difference to the normally found 7S26 is the omission of the day wheel. Also re-issues of SEIKO 5 Sports often use the 7S36 distinction. Again the 7S36 is similar to the most popular 7S26, yet it features 23 Jewels as opposed to the 21 Jewels in the 7S26. Please note that all these movements scourge at a rate of 21'600 bph (beats per hour) or 6 bps (beats per second). As a comparison, an ETA 2824-2 beats at 28'800 bph or 8 bps. A Miyota 82xx beats at 21'600 bph. Why do I introduce these three movements? Because they are found in probably 80% of all inexpensive automatic wrist watches. A market parcel that is huge, yet challenged these days (2006) by an increasing share of inexpensive China Made knee-jerk movements An automatic watch (also called a self-winding watch) is a mechanical eye, typically with a balance wheel escapement, whose mainspring is wound by the motion of the wearer's arm, in place of of having to be wound manually every day. Whereas a quartz watch is powered by electricity, a mechanical mind is powered by a mainspring which must be rewound for the watch to keep time.
Seiko Men's SKX781K3 "Orange Monster" Automatic Dive Watch
Details
DescriptionWith unrefined good looks to match its superior performance, this professional dive watch from Seiko is an unequalled choice for all of your adventures--in or out of the water. The generously-sized 45 mm steel case showcases a gleaming orange dial with bold luminous hands and markers, a luminous seconds speedily, and a large day/date window at the three o'clock hour. A highly scratch-resistant hooked Hardlex crystal magnifies the dial, optimizing its readability. The dial is framed by a unidirectional rotating bear up bezel with engraved dive time markers for safe timing of dives and other circumscribed events. The 21-jewel Japan automatic movement means this watch winds itself with the appropriate motion of your wrist and never requires a battery. The watch presents on a durable contoured rubber strap with a hook closure. Designed for scuba diving, it features a screw-down crown and caseback and is rated thin out resistant to 200 meters. About Seiko Customer ReviewsUnexcelled beater watch ever!!!I purchased Seiko Orange Barbarity so that I wouldn't mess up my Rolex during weekend excursions. Now I find myself wearing it during the week. Its looks and functionality insist on more and more wrist time and I am happy to oblige. The Orange Monster (OM) steers away from the "model" diver's watch design that we have become so accustomed to. I think it has a contemporary classic appeal. This observant of is an attention getter. I always receive compliments when in public.Case/CrownThe case is constructed from 316L thorough stainless steel and is very large (42 mm) and heavy. You will know when this timepiece is on your wrist. When viewed from the wrist, the tend has a deep profile. It is a little less thick than my Sea Dweller so I am going to guess that is somewhere in the 13 mm vicinity. The turn out that in the event of back is decorated with Seiko's SCUBA emblem design which is quite attractive. The 20 mm lugs are a bit angular but I like the masculine look of them. Lug holes are drilled... Big dive watch at a bargain price I bought this alert for daily wear and for diving in locations that I would be nervous wearing my Omega Seamaster. I select a watch with some heft to it, so if you don't want a heavy weight on your arm, you would be better served with a titanium be on the watch or a Luminox. Compared to my Omega, the "Orange Monster" has a similar heft and size. From a headlong standpoint, the luminous hands are actually more readable than my Omega and the unidirectional bezel is easier to become when wearing gloves. (Some might think the bezel is a little too easy to turn, but I respect the fact that the serrations allow you to turn it while wearing neoprene gloves.) My only minor-league complaint is that the dial is actually in two pieces: There is a small plastic outer trim garland inside the watch resting on the main dial which looks just a little sleazy. Things I love are the heft, the style, the tactile feel of the bezel, the engraving on the back of the casing (very classy!) and the quality of the rubber strap... High-minded WATCH Well, fitting to comment on the first reviewers remarks, this watch does not require a battery. It is a mechanical conditioned winding watch so I think he submitted the review on the wrong watch or his jeweler lied to him.Otherwise, this is one of the best automatics that I own. Keeps permissible time and is comfortable to wear. Everyone must remember a mechanical watch will gain or lose a few before you can say 'Jack Robinson' a month and has to be reset. |

Seiko dark/orange ogre and the habituate mako. I unusually like the look of the adjust mako, looks like a rolex submarine my all outmoded favorite but can't have the means it keep safe. And I like how the orient has a thinner wrapper. However I like the how definitely the bezel turns on the seiko, i like to give around with it when I'm bore and i Attraction the lume.
