I have been looking for a replacement leather band to restore the OE stainless steel band and I found it here on Amazon. I also ordered the 15mm spring bars. I have some watch tools and removing the stainless stiffen band was simple. Attaching the leather band was easy. I applied leather conditioner comparable to the oil used to condition baseball gloves to soften and condition the leather. The watch looks as allowable as new when I purchased it 7 yrs ago. Excellent value for an exceptional watch.

I tried to find this sit with band at watch dealers...none of them had it. As usual, I found it at Amazon.com! I now have an original watch band to make restitution for the one that came with the watch five years ago. I couldn't be happier.

Seiko Eye Band
This was my 2nd replacement gang from the same vender. The original and first replacement leather bands each lasted 1 1/2 yrs. The band cracks unfavourably at the buckle point when taking off watch. At this point, my watch is not worth the cost of any futher valuable watch bands. I would be weary to buy a watch with such a proprietary band in the future. If these bands were made by Seiko , Seiko has a leather mess.

Just now what I wanted
I looked at many watches, in stores and on the net. I have had Seiko watches before, but not recently. This has all the features I wanted, is the trend I wanted, and is dependable. It was a very reasonable price, considering all the features & reputation of the product. It is not too big, not too meagre. It has smooth lines, is tailored, but not trendy. I will wear it to during work & out other places; it can be dressed up with other studs, if I like.

I bought this keep safe for my wife who is very active. She needed something that is strong and easy to read. This watch does expressly that. The stainless steel band is strong and easy to fasten. The contrasting gold on wicked makes it easy to read and pleasent to look at. The only draw back was the length of the watch team up. My wife is small bone and the band had to have three links taken out.

I attraction this Seiko watch. Usually the braclets don't work out for me, but this one really does. Love the face as it has both day/boy/calendar, and can be read in the dark as well. Good price, great watch
